The BIG MFT Idol Final Project

Welcome to the My Favorite Things Idol Finale!!!!!! Whooooohooooo...... I can't believe I've made it this far. And it certainly wouldn't have been possible without your support.

There's an old saying.....Go Big or Go Home....well I'm not ready to go I went BIG!!! I created a Summer Survival Kit. It's pretty picture intensive, so I won't go into a ton of details on everything, so if you have any questions about anything send me an email, or c-box me. Make sure to clink on the pics to enlarge them. Inside this kit (which is a big $6 beverage tub from Target) are the following contents.....a Summertime Emergency Card Stash...complete with 8 different cards for those last minute invites or thank yous or just because.

The Group Therapy card contains a set of 4 wine glass charms made with shrink plastic.

Everyone needs something to keep them busy on those long summer car I created 2 activity for the kids and one for the mom. The kids book contains 16 pages of images to color and games to play. Yes, I received permission from Kim to enlarge the MFT images I used for this book. The covers are chipboard, and I bound it together using a Bind-It-All.

And mom needs her activity I created a 20 page booklet with stamped images for her to color. The covers are chipboard, covered in printed paper.
And you can't survive summer trips and BBQs without a few I've put together a set of suntan lotion, aloe after-sun lotion, bug spray, and a mister for those really hot days.
For that last minute invite, here's a necklace you can present to the hostess to thank her for inviting you to her party. The charm was made using shrink plastic.
And you can't go to the beach without a cooler....and how cool is this one with the coordinating "chill out" tag and matching charm.
And once you get to the party......and have given all the gifts out and opened up that suntan lotion you can fill the beverage tub with ice, a few Coronas and limes, vodka, and Appletini mix....get out the chips and salsa....and sit back and relax. The tub, being plastic, was easy to punch thru with the crop-a-dile to add holes and thread the ribbon thru.
The next day, when you're hurting from the partying the night before.....a bag of Cinnamon Vanilla Nut ground coffee. Pre-ground, because the coffee bean grinder doesn't make you happy in the morning when you're hungover!
Now that summer is here, and I'm all set.....I'm going to go pop open one of those Coronas and relax!!!!

Remember, voting starts tonight at are the rules.....
