It's Saturday already? How did that happen? Maybe because I've been sick most of the week. But it just seems like the week flew by. And I got basically nothing done!! And the laundry pile is beginning to take over my room again.
So, I created this card this morning for the OCC technique challenge and the PCP Sketch Challange. The OCC technique challenge is Emboss Resist. LOVE this technique!!!! It's so much fun to do because it's pretty easy and the results can be stunning. I embossed the grass by first inking the stamp with Versamark ink then in Old Olive. Heat embossed with clear detail EP. Then I sponged in the background using a punched out circle to mask the sun. The card base is embossed with the "Textile" embossing folder from Cuttlebug and the Kraft panel is embossed using the "Birds and Swirls" folder. The "Miss You" ribbon slide is a die-cut using the "Sliders" die from Cuttlebug. I inked the edges to tone down the Very Vanilla CS.
